Although fascias are designed to last several years, those made from wood are susceptible to rot and can warp. UPVC fascias can also fade. In the event of deterioration, fascia replacement may be necessary.
Your fascia board carries your guttering so it’s important it’s solid and fixed well. If your fascia runs along the lower edge of your roof and is fixed directly to the lower ends of the roof trusses, the bottom row of tiles could also give way if your fascia board manages to free itself from the trusses. This will cause roof damage.
Local Experts You Can Trust
We are based in Leeds and serve the whole of Yorkshire. We specialise in replacing old, warn out, warped, rotting and damaged fascias.
We can replace your old fascia with a like-for-like product, or we can upgrade it. Newer fascias are made from aluminium. Aluminium will never rot or warp, and you won’t be able to tell it’s aluminium except at inspection height.
We also sell wood and UPVC fascias, but aluminium is the modern recommendation. It lasts longer and no backing board is needed as with wood. We can also replace your soffits at the same time if you need them doing. We also replace gutters.
So, whatever you need, we’re here to help. Just get in touch.
We are operational during the COVID-19 pandemic and can provide an estimate without visiting you. Send details of your fascia requirements to info@roundhayroofing.co.uk and we’ll get back to you within 24-hours.
